Simple rules for using NameSpinly
These terms explain what you can expect from the free name spinner and what we ask from everyone who uses it.

The short version
Use NameSpinly lawfully and responsibly. You control the names you enter and share. Random results are provided as displayed, without a promise that they are suitable for high-stakes decisions.
1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using namespinly.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you use NameSpinly for a school, company, club, or other organization, you are responsible for following that organization's rules and confirming you have authority to use any information you enter.
2. The NameSpinly service
NameSpinly provides a browser-based tool that selects an entry from a user-provided list using secure browser randomness and displays the result through a wheel animation. The service is free and does not require an account in its current version.
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the site useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or permanent storage of a list.
3. Your lists and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for the names, labels, and other entries you add. Only use information you are permitted to use, keep personal data to a minimum, and check that your list and draw rules are accurate before relying on a result.
You agree not to use NameSpinly to:
- break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate harm;
- enter or share sensitive personal information without a lawful and appropriate reason;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass the security of the site;
- misrepresent a draw or use a result deceptively.
4. Random results and important decisions
The tool is intended for everyday activities such as classroom turns, games, giveaways, team activities, and low-stakes decisions. A result depends on the list supplied, including duplicate entries, and on the browser environment at the time of the spin.
Do not use NameSpinly as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, employment, admissions, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions. You are responsible for applicable giveaway rules, eligibility checks, record keeping, and any independent oversight your activity requires.
5. Share links
When you select Share list, the names are placed in the URL you copy. Anyone with that URL may be able to view and reuse the list. You are responsible for deciding who receives it and for removing confidential or unnecessary information before sharing.
NameSpinly cannot revoke copies of links that you or a recipient have already saved or distributed. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
6. Ownership and permitted use
NameSpinly's site design, branding, code, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the public site for personal, educational, and ordinary business purposes.
These terms do not transfer ownership of NameSpinly or grant permission to copy the service, use the branding as your own, sell access to the site, or create a misleading association with NameSpinly.
7. Disclaimers and limits
NameSpinly is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the service will always be error-free or available.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NameSpinly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date.
