From list to winner in under a minute

    Add your names

    Type or paste one name per line. You can add up to 100 entries, then clear or securely shuffle the list whenever you like.

    Spin the wheel

    Select Spin the wheel. NameSpinly securely chooses an entry and animates the wheel so everyone can follow the draw.

  3. 03

    Get a random winner

    The selected name appears in the winner panel. Spin again, or switch on Eliminate winner to remove each winner from later rounds.

How NameSpinly makes a fair selection

Secure browser randomness

Before the animation starts, NameSpinly uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator to select one entry from the current list. Every position has an equal chance when each name appears once.

The wheel animation reveals the already selected result; it does not depend on pointer position, screen size, or how quickly you click. If the same name is entered more than once, each occurrence counts as a separate entry and increases that name's chance of being selected.

Controls that make repeat draws easier

  • Eliminate winnerRemove the selected name automatically after each spin. You can undo the latest removal if needed.
  • Shuffle namesRandomize the visible order of entries before a draw without changing the fairness of the result.
  • Share listCopy a link containing the current names. Anyone with that link can load the same list in their browser.
  • In-memory privacyYour list stays in the current tab and is not saved. Reload or close the tab to discard it.
